Kids on a Mission Curriculum 2023

Kids on a Mission is a 4-week curriculum highlighting the current YWEA project. This material is easily adaptable for children of any age. The curriculum is designed to help children understand the purpose of YWEA’s projects, their impact on others, and how these efforts work together to create a better world.

This year’s project is “Conexión - Connect to the Commission,” an opportunity to connect with the culture of Latin America. This project will focus on Haven of Hope Orphanage in Bolivia, Semisud Pentecostal Seminary in Ecuador, a Prenatal Care Center in Mexico, and Ministry Training Centers in Guatemala and Brazil.

The first lesson introduces YWEA and what children can do to help. Each lesson covers a different aspect of this year’s YWEA project and includes activities and visual aids. The lessons are designed for elementary school-aged children, but they can be adapted to fit older children as well.

It is our prayer that through our 2023 Kids on a Mission curriculum, our Church of God children will learn about ministries in Latin America, that they will be moved with compassion for others, develop a heart for missions that will last a lifetime, and possibly even a calling to be missionaries to other lands.
